Adding categories to Event Registration Confirmation

Hello and Happy New Years

I would like to add 2 categories to the Event Registration confirmation email receipt that we receive. The 2 categories are: Amount paid and the promo code used

Hi,

I’m afraid the admin confirmation email in EE3 is not customizable. In EE4 they added a way to customize those.

One thing you could do is click on the “Download PDF Invoice” link that’s in the email and that will load up an invoice which will have the numbers for amount paid and amount due.

thank you for the information, however, in another account, a company that I work for, the information is included in the registration email using ee3

That was likely done by adding some custom PHP code to the other site. Do you have access to the PHP code on the other site?

Can you or someone from your organization get access to the PHP code on the other site? If so, the custom code could be copied from the original site onto the other site.

Josh, If I had access to the code, which specific file would contain the PHP code to edit this? Thank you

I don’t know the name of the specific file, because it’s custom. It’s likely going to be a custom plugin located in the wp-content/plugins directory.
