I have been told by pay pal that the pay pal button that is set up on my website is a test button only and needs to be replaced with a live button. They gave me lengthyinformation and my personal API to give to “my developer” I paid extra to have EE set up on my Word Press website. Do you do that, or do I have to get a webmaster to do it?

It looks like paypal is in “debug mode”. It can be switched into live mode by going to EE->Payment Settings in your WP admin. Scroll down to “Paypal Settings” and below the “Update Paypal Settings” button is a line that says “Use the Debugging Feature and the PayPal Sandbox”. If you uncheck that box and hit the “Update Paypal Settings” button, then it will switch into live mode.
I’ll see if I can dig up your login from the setting up of EE and do it for you.
Thanks.

Sydney, I have to give you my log in, we had an issue when it was being set up because my (part time) webmaster did not have me set up as an admin. If you would E mail me, I will E mail it to you. Thanks!

I found the email with the correct username/password. I switched Paypal into “live” mode.
Let us know if you have any more trouble.
Thanks.

Thank you so much, it amazes me that I spent so much time with PayPal trying to get this solved and you did it in a few moments! Kudos!
