Hi,

The link that you provided prompts us to login. Could you disable that restriction so we can reach the page?

Hi Lorenzo,

Can I send you a user so you can check the problem? I’m not the only developper and I’m not sure wheather I should change the login prompt.

Cheers

Lorenzo,
I’ve tried the solution you suggested using the permalinks. However, customizing the links and using the index.php in the URL did not work for me.

Any other suggestion or correction to what I did?

Cheers

Hi Sérgio,

As Lorenzo mentioned earlier in the email, this link works:

http://www.apfipp.pt/eventos/index.php?ee=download_ics_file&ics_id=1

You could also try setting the WP permalinks settings to default. Or add a redirect for the ee=download_ics_file url so that index.php gets appended to the URL. The tricky thing you will run up against is this is a Microsoft IIs6.0 server, and Event Espresso is only intended to run on Apache or Nginx servers.

Another option would be to disable the Ical feature by adding this code to a functions file:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/useful-php-code-snippets/#disable-ical

You may need to migrate the site away from the Microsoft IIs6.0 server in order to fix this and other issues you’ll encounter. Event Espresso requires either a LAMP or LNMP server in order to fully function. Please see the requirements page for more details.
