Hi we’re having issues on the following items below:
– Add More Attendees: infos are NOT saving to DB
– Email Confirmation to Attendee – not sending email confirmation though in the setting set as “Yes” (Custom/Fancy Header)
– Captcha – enabled in the Settings but not appearing in the registration page

Website details:
Wordpress version: 3.8.1
Event Espresso version: 3.1.36.5.P (newly installed)
Website URL: http://zurichconvention2014.com/

Let me know if you need WP Admin/Cpanel login info.

This is a Free event. Just need to solve those issues and 80 pax are waiting to register.

Many thanks!

Hi,

I ran some local tests on a fresh installation of the latest EE and saw no indications of problems with attendees not being saved.

I registered on your site with registrants TEST and TEST2 can you clarify if both are there?

Email wise, I also did not receive any emails. Fancy headers should be irrelevant here (all that does is change the from name on the email), so it is possible that it is a server issue. EE uses the standard WordPress email function to send mails. Sometimes that just doesn’t work correctly for a wide variety of reasons. Users have found that using a plugin such as WP Mail SMTP or a service such as Mandrill has resolved their email issues.

reCAPTCHA wise, it is showing for me. If you were logged in while testing the reCAPTCHA will not show, so please test while logged out.

Hi Dean,

Thanks for replying.

– Primary Attendee is saving to Admin/DB. I saw your TEST with your email account.

– Add More Attendee form – is not saving to Admin/DB. We need that feature coz other attendees had an additional attendee/companion. (Very High Priority, please help us here)

– captcha – yes its displaying, but when you click the Add More Attendees button it stays fixed below the Primary Attendee form. (less priority for spam protection only)

– email – just installed WP Mail SMTP hope it works.

Hi,

Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this? I am concerned as to why the additional attendees are not saving.

I will be registering more attendees and using Adminer to examine the database.

The Captcha is only intended to show up once.

If so, please send them via https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

NOTE: login details need to be Admin level and FTP details are appreciated.

Thanks for that.

I need to refer to another support team member regarding this as I cannot see what is causing it. I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Actually I just figured it out!

The problem is, you are using what looks like the modified first name question and you removed the last name question from the Personal Information question group.

This, as discovered, will break Event Espresso.

First Name, Last Name and Email are required questions for ALL attendees.

As such you will need to re-add the Last Name question back in Via Question Groups, and probably rename the Full Name (According to your passport) back to First Name (the wording is irrelevant do it doesn’t have to be exactly that).
