Hi, |
Hi there, Can you post the exact error you are getting, please? Are you logged in as an administrator? |
|
|
Yes, iam logged as administrator. |
I understand the problem, but I need to know the exact error thats shown on the page to know the cause. Can you either copy the error here, or take a screenshot and add a link to it here? https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#screenshots |

ok, when i click here : Maybe this error can help you. When i active event espresso, i have some conflict : then i have a problem with my extension teambooking, my button of reservation is gone : https://www.un-espritzen.fr/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/team-booking.jpg and this extension is very important for me for our individual reservation. Do you know why ? Thanks !!! |
Hmm, ok, so that is the full error. If you activate EE, go to Event Espresso -> Maintenance -> Reset/Delete Data Click the ‘Reset Event Espresso Capabilities’ button.
EE injects some elements into the page and if the theme is targeting specific elements using nth-child, or first-child selectors those elements can cause problems with those. I’ll need to see the page with EE activated to see what is happening.
I’d need to see what is happening on the page, can you activate EE so I can take a look? If you prefer not to do that on the live site (as it will effect your users), can you create a development copy of the site we can view? |

I have already reset data and nothing has change. I have activate event espresso directly (www.un-espritzen.fr), you can do your test ;-). For team booking i have verified, it’s not your extension who is in cause sorry, it’s a bug with my theme. |
That looks like a bug in the theme’s CSS that’s exposed when Event Espresso is activated. Can you trying adding this to your custom stylesheet?

With regards to the error you’re seeing when you try to access the edit profile page, I’ve seen that error before and it was the result of a plugin conflict. You can rule out a plugin or theme conflict is by installing the Health Check plugin, then go to WP → Dashboard → Heath Check → Troubleshooting. There you’ll Enable Troubleshooting Mode, then once that’s activated you’ll reactivate Event Espresso only via the Health Check’s Troubleshooting item in the WP admin bar. At that point, can you check to see if the issue persists? |
|
|
It’s ok for my header theme :-), thanks. it’s working to access the edit profile page when troubleshooting mode is activate ! |
Very good, so you’ve found that there is indeed a plugin or theme conflict. The next step is to reactivate the theme while troubleshooting mode, if the issue persists at that point, you reactivate the other plugins one by one and check the edit profile page. Eventually the page will break again and you’ll know which plugin is causing the issue. |

Thanks, i have found the plugin, it’s eventon rsvp. So Have you an issue even if I have to replace soon this plugin with yours 😉 ? |
You’ll need to deactivate that other plugin in order to access the edit profile page, or contact the plugin author and ask them to fix their plugin. |

Ok thanks 😉 |
