We have a course event called a boot camp. The boot camp consists of 3 distinct courses. Boot Camp = Day 1, Course 1 + Day 2, Course 2 + Day 3, Course 3. I want to sell the 3-day boot camp for $1500.00 but also offer the individual courses (day 1,2,3)separately for $600.00 each. If I have 4 events, I run the risk of overbooking the courses. There is probably more than one way to accomplish my goal. What are my options and how would I configure the system to do it? Does it require an add-on or does Event Espresso have the native ability to do this? I have read some documentation, but I could not find any that provided a clear solution to this exact use case.

Hi there,
So each ‘instance’ of the event is set as a Datetime within the event itself, so from the above, it sounds like you need 3 datetimes (one for each day).
You then need a new ticket type for each different type of selection you want to offer, in this case that sounds like 4 ticket types…
3 Day BootCamp Ticket, Day 1 Ticket, Day 2 Ticket, Day 3 Ticket

Within the Datetimes settings (click on the <span class=”gear-icon dashicons dashicons-admin-generic”></span> icon foe each datetime) you can select which tickets ‘apply’ to that Datetime.
So the 3 Day BootCamp Ticket applies to all datetime, but ‘Day 1 Ticket’ only applies to the Day 1 Datetime, day 2 for day 2 and day 3 for day 3.

Sales from Both the 3 Day BootCamp ticket and the ‘Day 1 Ticket’ tickets apply to the ‘Day 1 datetime.
