Hi Tom, your server is running into an issue while generating the tickets. Could you ensure that your ticketing add-on is also up to date?
Here is the latest version:
Ticketing Add-on v2.2.0.p
If the issue continues, then temporarily enable WP debugging via this macro in your WP-config.php file:

Then try to browse to the ticket link twice.
Then browse to this location using an SFTP or FTP client such as FileZilla, Cyberduck or Transmit:
/wp-content
You should see a debug.log file there. Open it and look for any fatal errors related to Event Espresso.
Copy them into a reply. Only fatal errors are needed.
Then turn off WP debugging by setting the true at the beginning of the macro to false and save changes to your wp-config.php file.

This is the error now appearing when trying to view a ticket from the attendee list in the event overview.

Hi, there aren’t any fatal errors appearing there. Do you have access to the server error_log?
This may be in the WordPress root but may also be accessible via something like a hosting panel login or a cpanel login area.

Hi, thanks for locating those.
Could you try these steps:
1) Ensure that your other plugins are up-to-date.
2) Launch a browser tab with a ticket link. This should be the one that you are seeing the internal server error with.
3) Open another tab and then go to WP-admin –> Plugins. The errors are referencing JetPack and Contact Form 7. Could you briefly deactivate those plugins and then refresh the other browser tab?
Does the error still appear?
If so, try also deactivating other plugins and re-testing?
Be sure to restore all plugins after running the testing above.

We’ve tried deactivating a few, and then all of them, apart from all Event Espresso plugins and the WP SSL plugin, and its still not working.
The W3Total cache plugin that was installed by the host, appears to have not been setup correctly by exempting the EE pages, as here – https://eventespresso.com/wiki/setup-nocache-exclusion-rules-event-espresso/#wpsupercache.
We’ve updated those settings, but still getting the internal 500 error. Could there be other settings on the cache plugin that could be affecting the ticket launch?

An entry should appear each time it is triggered (internal server error appears).

Hi,
Have you tried reinstalling the ticketing add on? The EE3 ticketing add on comes with the Deluxe ticket template by default.
However, deluxe-new.php sounds like a custom template (https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-create-a-custom-ticket/), so perhaps you have one incorrectly made, or the plugin core files have been modified and it is looking for a custom template that has been removed.

I’ve found out that someone else on the team had tried to install a new deluxe ticket. The file is now back in its right place in the uploads/… folder.
