Hi,
We’re using EE 4.4.3 and when attempting to export our registrations to CSV, we receive the error below.
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

I have attempted to increase the PHP memory using the information found here:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
and also increasing the memory in PHP5.ini file on server

I looked in the error log on the server and am seeing this error after i attempt to download the CSV file:
stderr: WordPress database error You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘WHERE post_content LIKE ‘%<!–WPFORUM–>%” at line 1 for query SELECT ID FROM WHERE post_content LIKE ‘%<!–WPFORUM–>%’ made by require(‘wp-blog-header.php’), require_once(‘wp-load.php’), require_once(‘wp-config.php’), require_once(‘wp-settings.php’), include_once(‘/plugins/wpforum/wp-forum.php’), include(‘/plugins/wpforum/forum-functions.php’), forum_get_page_id

Our Event is next week and would be very helpful if we could export this data prior to the Event.
Thank you.
James Murphy

Hi James,

Could you re-test this with only Event Espresso running?

Also, could you share an estimate of how many registrations you are trying to export?

Hi Lorenzo,
There are only about 580 registrations. We do have registrations from previous events that were in EE3, but using the ‘Registration CSV Report’ button should only pull from that Event, correct?

To re-test with only Event Espresso, do you mean deactivate all other plugins?
thanks.

Hi James,

It will only pull from a specific event but if there are a lot of questions per event, then it could run out of memory.

Could you briefly test with other plugins deactivated and Event Espresso activated?

Be sure to reactivate your plugins afterwards.

Hi Lorenzo,
Deactivating all but Event Espresso gave same results.

Alright, thanks for trying. Here is a workaround to get that information:

Thanks Lorenzo, the workaround worked! Kind of cumbersome, but at least we’re able to get the registrations out.

Thanks for confirming! I’ve created a feature request to add an option to export a certain number of registrations at once.

Hello again James,

We’ve made some improvements in the registration CSV report system today and we would like your help in testing it out. Our developer’s benchmark shows that its more efficient and about five times faster.

Do you have a testing or staging site available and are you running a recent version of Event Espresso 4.6.x?

{redacted, please see the next topic update below — JF}

Thanks!
