We developed a Zapier Integration but have problems to read participant data thru the API that are not within the standard system fields. We’re using questions to ask for salutation/gender and need them to been transfeered to our CRM.
Any chance to solve this using the API, to get structures data from custom questions?
Or โ even better: Any plans to add gender/salutation as a default participant field (would help many customers outside the US).
A Zapier Integration sounds great! Please let us know if you plan on releasing the integration publicly, as I am sure other’s would find this integration useful.
To answer your question about the Event Espresso 4 API, you should be able to access the registrant’s answers to custom questions via the API with a query like this /wp-json/ee/v4.8.36/registrations?include=Answer.Question. That will include each registration’s answers and each answer’s question.
Does that help? I’ll put in a feature request to include salutation and gender fields.
thanks for replying. Will give the information to my devs ๐
Salutation and Gender fields would be a great improvement not only for international EE users but especially on releasing a good Zapier integration. When using custom questions, answers might be different in their their position within the questions โ which makes it more difficult to setup the Zapier integration.
Hi Andreas,
is your Zapier integration running as expected?
Do you think you could share your integration with us?
I am open to update it or add additional features to such an integration – if necessary. My developers are ready to do this.
