it could also be because of my staging website, which uses the same code as everything is copy / pasted there. If that’s the cause, could you let me know how I’m supposed to keep the EE4 plugin within the staging website ?
You can remove the support license key from the staging site and then manually update it as needed by removing the current plugin and then uploading and activating a new version which you can get from your account page.
Go to the WP dashboard for the live site and then go to Event Espresso –> General Settings and save changes.
