Hi we have a developer license on 5 sites, and the plugin is updating fine on (4) of the sites. We had one of the licenses in a development area and recently moved it to root. So, we did a license reset with you a couple of days ago. However we still get the following error, even after following the license reset procedure: “You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.” Help?? |
Hi Axel, How are you today? Which of the 5 domains do we need to try and reset? |

Sorry for the slow reply, I’m Mike (tech for Axel’s website). The domain that needs to be reset is goldclubsf.com. Thank you. |
Hi Axel, I’ve just reset your Support License Key for your site. In a few minutes, you’ll receive a confirmation to your email address on your Event Espresso account. If you are using Event Espresso 3, please login to your WordPress admin and locate Event Espresso in the admin menu. Then click on General Settings. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and locate the area for Support License. Now copy the existing key. Then erase the existing key and click on Save Options. After the page refreshes, scroll back down to the Support License area and paste your key and click on Save Options. If you are using Event Espresso 4, please login to your WordPress admin and locate Event Espresso in the admin menu. Then click on General Settings. Copy the existing key which appears at the top of the page. Then erase the existing key and click on Save on the right side of the screen. After the page refreshes, please paste your key and click on Save once more. These steps will refresh your Support License Key for Event Espresso. — |

I’ve tried the steps above repeatedly. It looked like it worked once, just after the reset, now it’s back again, so this is still an ongoing issue. Each time there is an update, I get the licensing problem. Can we please elevate this so we can send you login/ftp info so your techs can take a look. We’ve got 5 paid licenses and this is the only one giving us trouble. |
Hi, I’ve deactivated that support license key and created a new one ending in ee. Let us know if that works. — |

Lorenzo, Thank you, that seems to have worked. Hopefully it will stick and won’t break again when there’s a new update available. |
