In the PENDING REGISTRATION email the link “You can make a payment here ».” just goes to a blank page. Is something not configured correctly?Help!

Can you install the Theme Test Drive plugin and test the url within one of the default themes please?
Installing the above plugin allows you to activate another theme for Admin’s only, so activate the twentyfounteen theme within theme test drive and then go to the URL you provided within this thread. Is the payment page shown?

Has the registration for that attendee been deleted/trashed?
If not I’d like to take a look at the install if possible? If so, could you create temporary log-in details and send them using this form:

Ok, the record was TRASHED. I RESTORED it and the paste appeared in the 2014 theme. When I switched back to AVADA, the page failed:

Unfortunately all of those notices are from Avada theme, you would need to contact them in regards to those.
However the good news is the page does not actually fail, if you scroll down you’ll find the payment options.
The page looks odd because WP_Debug is enabled and Avada is throwing all kinds of notices. If you now disable WP_Debug once again (it is only to be used for debugging/troubleshooting such as the above) the page should load correctly.
