We are having some weird functionality problems with our website and everything clears once EE is disabled.

http://ppmcsa.org -503 error
http://ppmcsa.org – works, but with php warnings about EE as well as register button causing 503 errors, and seemingly “re-freshing” the page rather than going to the registration form.

EE is updated to the newest version
WP is the newest version

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED

I hope that makes sense. Both URL’s and the site seems to work fine with the EE plugin disabled, but the site does not work with EE enabled.

Hi consumerfocus,

A 503 error is either caused by your site having met its maximum concurrent connection (simultaneous visitors) limit, or if your hosting account consumes all of its available resources. Event Espresso does use server resources while it’s activated, so temporarily deactivating it will free up some resources to avoid the 503 error. Can you contact your host and ask them to check the system processes? If there are some stuck processes they can end them which should help.
