The wrong registration form has attached to other existing event pages on my website. Why is this happening? I can’t get a new registration page to attach to a new page.

Hi Joan,
We received your request for priority support.
I checked the registration form Question Groups in your site’s admin, and it appears that the Address question group had been repurposed into the “Team Manager Training 2018” Question Group.
There may be other issues with the way the question groups were set up that need sorting out, and we can investigate further.
Would you be able to explain a bit more about what makes the registration form “wrong”, and what exactly would make it right?

Update:
I’ve gone through and organized the question groups so the original system groups for capturing name & email address and Address questions are no longer asking event-specific questions.
Going forward if you need to set up a group of questions for a specific event, you can add a new group, then add the event-specific questions to the new group. The System question groups are best left to capture information like name & address.

Thanks – I’ll see if this will work. For some reason, no matter which question group I chose, the one for Skill Building 2018 was the only one that would attach to the Request a Team Challenge package (this registration form had worked perfectly until last week).

Right. What happened is someone re-purposed the system questions groups and tried to make them into event-specific question groups. The Event Espresso 4 forms system doesn’t work that way because there are two predefined groups:
1) Personal Information — which captures the name & email address of the attendee
and
2) Address Information — which captures the Address information.
The Personal Information group is automatically activated for all events. In the case of your site there were some event-specific questions that got tacked onto that group, and the group was renamed into something else.
