Wrong language in menu for English (CA) after update to 4.10.30.p

After updating to Events Espresso version 4.10.30.p, some (not all) menu items are not in English (CA) but rather in some other language. For example, “Events” becomes “Esdeveniments”, which I believe is Catalan. However, the menu items are fine if I switch the site language to English (US).

Hi there,

We had a report of this earlier and it was due to a conflict within our language files, which we then fixed, however, you may have already downloaded the ‘old’ language files before that.

May I ask what date you updated Event Espresso? You can find that in Event Espresso -> Maintenance -> System Information.

Search for ‘ee activation history’ on that page, (or ‘4.10.30.p’) using your Browsers search.

It should list the date and time you activated it there.

To fix this you will need to remove/rename a language file from within Event Espresso are you comfortable with FTP/File manager at all?
