Hey guys,

I’ve switched from godaddy to inmotion (recommended by EE or developers – can’t recall) and it’s been constant problems. I have the Pro plan which is their highest level shared hosting plan.

I’m running out of ram and one suggestion of theirs was to disable wpcron. This is over my head, but I think EE requires wpcron enabled, doesn’t it?

Any suggestions on how to improve performance?

Any other feedback on this? I would think their best shared hosting plan could handle a single EE website.

Thanks, Derek

Hi Derek,

Event Espresso can work okay without wp_cron as long as a replacement is configured. You can follow their guide on how to set up a replacement:
