Hi
Although I have “event_thumbnail_url” specified in the wp_events_detail meta data – it doesn’t seem to pick it up automatically and set the featured image for the event that was imported. I imported my events using excel and Sequel Pro. all the other settings work, just the featured image for the event doesn’t seem to have been set.
I do have the featured image option turned on in template settings too.
Any help would be appreciated. I have 2000 events, and can’t set all the featured images manually…

Hi Winston,
I did a quick test on this by adding a featured image in the event editor (event A), then went into phpMyadmin and copied the event meta from event A into another event (event B). Then I went into the event editor for event B and the featured image was set there.
You could try the same test, and compare the data that the event editor stores with the data you’re trying to import.
