When I have the addon enabled and user is not logged in and goes to register for an event, they get prompted to login. When trying to do so they receive a ‘missing username’ and ‘missing password’ error, even though the username and password have been entered. I disabled most plugins on the site, excluding EE plugins and some non-login related plugins (page builder, 404 error, etc)

If I set Force Login for registrations? to No, and the person uses an existing email on the registration form they get notified a user account exists, and the login form on that pop up modal works fine.

You could try the default theme and no other plugins to rule out any conflicts.

Exactly the same thing with only EE and EE addons enabled.

I’ve put a copy of the site on a staging URL. I’ll share access to that.

I had assumed there was a way to make replies private so I could share login details, but I can’t seem to find it. How can I share the logins details so you can see/test?

No need to send those, a developer has been assigned to look into this issue further. We’ll update you when there’s a fix that’s ready.

There’s a fix that’s ready now. Can you update to the current version of the WP Users Integration (v2.0.13) to see if that fixes the issue for you?

On the plugins page I am getting this: A valid Support License Key is needed to enable automatic upgrades. Your current account does not allow automatic upgrades on more than one domain. Please log in to your Event Espresso account to manage your Support License Keys or purchase a support license right now.

The support key is in place in the plugin and the little key is green. No other site is using the key right now. So I can’t update it through wordpress.

Is it okay to delete the folder and upload the new version? Or will that overwrite DB settings?

As a note, I was able to update the core plugin but this add-on failed.

Deleting the plugin folder and replacing with a new version will not affect the database.

The plugin update engine on the Event Espresso.com server side is getting pinged from two domains with your key. One is wordpress-24741-54500-161036.cloudwaysapps.com, the other is a .com domain for a real estate institute.

The cloudways app is gone now. That was the one I setup to test without other themes/plugins. I deleted that though.

I will deleted the folder and upload.

You can reset your license key from your account page to remove that other site from your key.

The plugin resolved the bug and the login form works fine. That said, we’re not going to use it in its current form. The prompt to login is awesome. However, we are expecting more people to be new given the nature of the site. If they are new, first the registration link is not obvious (possibly easy to change, but I haven’t looked), and second they have to move into the WP registration process and can’t be returned to the course registration process.

It would be way way better if you did an option. I’m think maybe tabs for ‘Login’ and ‘New User’. Then the person can select which. If they select New User it uses the registration form from the plugin which appears if ‘force login’ isn’t enabled.

Thanks though for the prompt bug fix and support.
