We have installed the WP user integration addon but we have more than one level of membership (using wishlist), so when the members login, we want to be able to display several (3) different ticket prices. I am happy to buy a support token & have one or your guys work on it – if you can make this work for us.

Is this possible?

Hi Andrea,

Unfortunately this not a simple modification and would require a large amount of customisation to how Event Espresso handles member pricing.

I’ll discuss this with the team and see if there are any options available to do what you are requesting.

In the mean time you may want to contact one of our recommended developers available on our Pro’s page to see if this is something they can provide:

Thanks Tony – I’ll check out your developers.

I think some people use s2member, but I’m not sure if it allows multiple membership levels either.

We actually have a (beta) Add-on for s2member and EE3, however that also does not provide the functionality you are requesting.

EE creates a Standard Price, and a Member Price that replaces that standard pricing. So non logged in users see the standard price, logged in users see the Member pricing. Currently there’s way to differentiate the different levels that you would need for multiple member pricing.

The S2 Add-on allows you to set the S2 member levels required for the 2 pricing structures, eg min S2 Level 1 for standard pricing, min S2 Level 2 for Member pricing, but not lvl1 = member price 1, lvl2 = member price 2 etc.

The limitation is with how EE creates the Member pricing but I will discuss this with the team for any options (due to time differences this may take a little a time)

Hi Tony
I’ve been thinking about how to make this work for us – please let me know if this would work; (Using the WP user integration addon)

Members not logged in – will only see the non-member price
Members logged in – will see 2 price options – and they choose the relevant price for their membership level.

Currently we have the option of showing several prices via a drop-down – so I’m guessing we could still do this to show for the logged in members.

Will this work?

Hi,

Unless I’m misunderstanding, that seems possible out of the box using the event editor:

Hi Lorenzo
I realise we can have different levels of pricing, but what I need is that ONLY the relevant price show (i.e. member price) when the member is logged into wordpress.

My question was: If we use the WP integration addon – can I have;
1 price for non-logged in people (that displays when they are NOT logged in) &
2 different prices for members (that displays when they ARE logged in)?
So that would 3 different prices – but NOT all displaying as the same time – depending on if they are logged in or not.

Trish

Hi Andrea,

Within EE you set 2 prices (with the WP Members Add-on), Standard and Member pricing.

When a non-logged in user visits the site they will see the standard pricing, when a logged in user visits the event the standard pricing is replaced with the Member pricing.

Currently it is not possible to have multiple member prices with only a single non member price which is sounds like you need?

For example Non-member price $30, Member price could be $10 or $20 based on, I am guessing the member level?
