How is it possible to set two or more user roles or capabilities to one ticket type. For example subscriber, admin, capability_1 and capability_2 have access for the ticket. I’ve tried commas and semicolons and none of them worked.
The input accepts one capability, so what you can do is input one capability that all user roles share. This is similar to how S2 Member’s member levels work where, for example, you can have a member level 2 will also be able to access levels 0 & 1.
I have a similar issue to the OP. I have an event where I would like all four S2Member levels to have access to one ticket, however, setting tickets to s2member_level1 does not seem to give access to higher membership levels. Is there a workaround here?
This is not a workaround, you need to set the WordPress Capability, you do not set the WordPress role. So for your example, you set access_s2member_level1,
which is a capability that’s shared by s2member_level1, s2member_level2, s2member_level3, and s2member_level4.
Thanks very much Josh, that’s a perfect solution. Sorry to hijack the thread but do you have any experience with how EE4/WP User works with Paid Memberships Pro? We’re evaluating whether it’s a better fit for us than S2Member but it’s compatibility with EE4 is going to be a huge factor.
