Hi Guys,

So far loving this plugin, very good!

Im having an issue with the Thank you page after a successful Worldpay payment. I have it set it to the correct URL in the Worldpay Merchant settings in our Worldpay account. However all we get at the end is the blank site header and no thank you page content. I have checked and the Thank you page has the required short code in place and we also have added some additional text. Nothing shows up, just our site header.

Hi Warren,

Someone else was having a WorldPlay Thankyou page issue earlier. I will add this to the ticket to the developer to look into.

If you could provide a screen shot/link etc that would be very useful.

Thanks

What is the link to the site and event? Is this a test or live transaction?

Hi

We were testing it LIVE

Are the transactions being processed? Do you get an email with a link to the transactions details page?

No emails from the WordPress installation at all. Worldpay is charging the card however and we are getting emails from Worldpay. But no ‘order’ detail emails from the plugin/wordpress

I tested your payment gateway. Looks like something in your theme or another plugin is causing major problems.

Here is what I found by looking at the source of the WorldPay page thank you page:

  1. The theme was purchased from Themeforest. These guys have the worst reputation in the WordPress theme industry.
  2. Your theme plugin is outputting some kind of CSS style, but it looks it is trying to output some Jquery instead of CSS. Here are some screenshots of the first problem: http://www.screencast.com/t/pC24BqR2lz and http://www.screencast.com/t/w1LsLBIcps8
  3. There is a broken iframe being output. As you can see in the following screenshot, there are paragraph tags wrapping the iframe. Screenshot: http://www.screencast.com/t/RHajEQHFfu. This is most likely caused by the theme wrapping all of the output of your shortcodes with paragraph tags. This seems to be standard operating procedure for most themes from Themeforest and is a very very bad practice from these guys.
  4. If your theme supports this option, you might be able to fix this by wrapping the all Event Espresso (and other plugin) shortcodes in [RAW] tags. Example: [RAW][ESPRESSO_CALENDAR][/RAW] or [RAW][ESPRESSO_EVENTS][/RAW] or [RAW][ESPRESSO_PAYMENTS][/RAW].

I know it is not what you want to hear, but we have dealt with these issues from themes sold on Themeforest hundreds of times. Your theme is basically broken and will need to be fixed by the theme developer. If the theme developer refuses to fix the problem, then you may have to get Themeforest involved and/or request a refund or find a different theme that follows the WordPress coding standards. If all else fails, you can pay us or another developer to fix these issues with your theme.

I hope that helps.

Forgot one screenshot. This is from the same WorldPay page:
http://www.screencast.com/t/zfnnaAWBA

The transaction is completing, but the theme is basically stopping it from showing.

Here is what your thank you page should look like:

Thanks for all your help. Can you PM or email me with a quote for you guys to fix the issue please.

Hey Warren,
I think one support token should be enough to cover the time it will take. (https://eventespresso.com/product/premium-support-token/). I would basically make a custom page template that is a static snapshot of the thank-you page. That way the look matches the rest of the site, but it would keep all the other plugins from loading and interfering with the transaction processing.

Thanks one support token is fine, ok how do I proceed then?

OK, just purchased the support token. You should have all the admin and ftp details from before. πŸ™‚

Hi Warren,

You can purchase support tokens here https://eventespresso.com/product/premium-support-token/ though depending on the issue, we may request you purchase more than one.

Warren

Hi Dean, Yes I have already purchased one token as advised by ‘Sidney’ – See the earlier posts?

OK, thanks for all your help, confirmation page is now working! πŸ™‚

However I have a slight problem. Neither we nor the customer are getting a confirmation email from the plugin/our website for each sale. We need to get an email with the order details as does the customer. At the moment all we get is a worldpay email, however it does not contain all the required info.

How can we setup so both the site owner and end user get an email receipt with full details?
