I have a client who I’m looking at bringing onboard the EE4 train, however, they have a reasonably complex event (they have a few similar to this)
The event is structure like this:
Conference
-Sub Event 1 on day 1 with 4 different registration types
–Session A (Free) – with 10 options – each option has a different attendance limit
–Session B (Free) – with 9 options
–Session C (Free) – with 16 options
–Session D (Free) – with 7 options
-Sub Event 2 on day 2 with 6 different registration types
–Session A (Free) – with 11 options
–Session B (Free) – with 14 options
–Session C (Free) – with 16 options
–Session D (Free) – with 13 options
-Sub Event 3 on day 3 with 5 different registration types
–Session A (Free) – with 11 options
–Session B (Free) – with 4 options
–Session C (Free) – with 8 options
–Session D (Free) – with 3 options
We can treat each Sub Event as a conference in itself, but how would I be able to structure the Sessions and still maintain the limit controls?
The issue that I’m seeing is with the sessions that have a larger number of options. This is because you would need a ticket option per session to maintain the limits which would mean many tickets options per page which would not be a good registration experience.
Unfortunately, we do not have a sessions add-on for Event Espresso 4 at this time.
