I have a situation where I could use the ability for someone to see registrations at the start of or during an event, ie see the reservations for an event, and download the registrations csv. I really don’t need the person to have any write/change/delete privileges. I know there is a plugin(s) to create EE4 user roles, but I don’t need that degree of complexity.

If I gave them an account with WordPress Subscriber role would that allow them do see what’s happening for an event? Or is there some other way I could implement that?

Thanks!

Hi there,

I know there is a plugin(s) to create EE4 user roles, but I don’t need that degree of complexity.

That’s actually exactly what you need, some level of control over the capabilities a user account has, right?

If I gave them an account with WordPress Subscriber role would that allow them do see what’s happening for an event?

A subscriber account within WordPress does not have any access to the Dashboard (and therefore nothing within Event Espresso) so no, this would not work.

We don’t have a way for you to allow a user to have access specifically to the registration list and download the CSV without having other access along with it.

May I ask do you need specific details for each registrant or just a registration list of names for example?
