Hi,
I am looking at building a new membership site. We would like an event system integrated into the site. We would like those who are a certain tier level the ability to book events for free, while free members are charged full cost. Is something like this possible with Event Expresso and membership plugins like WooCommerce Membership or something similar.

Hi Bryan,
The key to make something like this work is you need a plugin that sells memberships, and each tier level has its own capability. I’m not familiar with WooCommerce Membership to know whether they use capabilities. The s2Member plugin has a rich capability-based tier level system. S2’s membership levels are documented here:

Once you have a membership level/capability system in place, you can use Event Espresso’s WP User Integration to set a ticket capability requirement for each ticket (like a free ticket option for some members) to a specific capability.
