It appears that the recent update to WooCommerce has a conflict with being able to log into the EE app. When I disable Woocommerce, I’m able to log in fine; otherwise keeping Woocommerce enabled gives me an Invalid Credentials login screen. Can this be confirmed, and if so, is there a potential fix in place soon?

Hi,

I’m not able to replicate the issue using a site with the current versions of WooCommerce and Event Espresso.

What this could be is your web server is running low on memory resulting in a crash from any requests to the /wp-json/ endpoint. Then when you deactivate WooCommerce enough memory is freed up.

You could check your server’s PHP error logs and if you see any “Fatal Error”s related to memory, you can bump the memory limit.

Thanks Josh – Thanks for looking into it. It’s not a memory issue unfortunately (we’ve been using Woo in conjunction with EE for a couple years now). I understand the database needed to be updated on the Woo release. Can you confirm it’s working with the database also updated?

Yes, it works with the database updated.

You might also check your site’s wp-json endpoint.
e.g. https://example.com/wp-json/

If no response, then check you site’s PHP error log.
