We are currently accepting registrations for a big event. But since we just moved the site to a new server, I am noting the error message that the support license can’t be on more than one domain. Before I wipe out the curretly license key and request the reset, I want to know whether or not I will not be able to accept registrations in the interim. If not, please advise the length of time typical to reset the key.

Hi there,

The license key has no effect on Event Espresso’s functionality, it is used to provide support and updates.

You’re registrations will continue to work as normal.

Resetting your license key takes very little time, I can reset it now if preferred?

Remove your license key from the field and save.

Request a reset through your account (or just reply here) and I will process it asap for you.

I would LOVE it if you can just go ahead and reset it now. The new url is http://www.maineindooair.org. Or depending on what you need: https://maineindoorair.org/

OK the key is reset. You can go ahead and put your account ending in
48ea
in the Support key field on your mainindoorair.org’s WP dashboards’s Event Espresso > General Settings page and save.

Whoops – the license key was already in the field box. I must not have saved its removal earlier. Does this mean you have to do another reset?

No it’s fine, what can happen is we reset the key and your ‘old’ domain pings our servers which re-assigns the key to that domain.

Then you try to add the key on the new domain and it shows as invalid. However currently no domain is active on your key so it should be fine, on the site remove the key and save.

Then re-add it and save again, that should re-assign your key to your site.
