Hello, if I create an event category and assign some of my events to it, will it change the url to those events? Thanks.

Hi there,
Change the URL in what way?
The events permalink is shown at the top of the event, by default it will be:
/events/{event-name}
Assigning categories to that event will not change that URL.

Thanks. I was concerned it would change the URL and break the original link by adding in a category name to the url like “/event-category/events/eventname

Oh I see, no that won’t happen.
What will happen is you’ll see the events under the event category url, so:
/event-category/some-category/
Will list the event.
