hi there,
is there a way / is it posible to customize the widget event espresso upcoming events?
i want to display the Venue how can i establish this?

Hi Victor,
That can be done with some custom coding changes.
Are you familiar with creating a custom widget for WordPress or using an SFTP / FTP client like Cyberduck or FileZilla?

Hi Victor,
We cannot write custom coding for you but we are happy to help you get started. This customization that you are asking about can be done but it will require you to interact with some PHP files to get the venue to display.
There is a sample plugin available to get you started:

It shows the venue city and state.

Hi Lorenzo,
Thanks for the sample plugin. I have now installed the plugin, and it display the city and state_name. Can u help me a bite more how to athive to display the venue name? i have search in the database for the name of the venue and it is an page of wordpress?

That’s actually a post_title because venues are a custom post type, stored in the wp_posts table.
