Why is there a Tony Warwick with an email: tony@eventespresso.com who has registered for my festival which requires vaccination. We have been spent precious time chasing this person’s vax card. We are sold out! Why are we chasing for this person?
IS THIS A REAL PERSON? Does he dance tango? IF NOT, IT IS HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL TO PUT SOMEONE IN OUR REGISTRATION SYSTEM.
Screenshots only show half of the story so I added a registration to the event to check the page source code and confirm the social buttons were indeed from Event Espresso as that’s not always the case. Unfortunately, I can’t fix/advise on elements on the page that I can’t see so needed to add a registration.
However, it’s important to note here that my registration would have been added via the front end on a public event that anyone can register onto. We (Event Espresso) don’t have any kind of special access to your events to add registrations.
It would have been helpful if you had called out the registration at the time of the support ticket, so I could delete it.
We have spent a lot of time this year on manual issues that EE doesn’t fully support – things like vaccination card requirements (must be chased outside of registration), gender-balance (important for partner dancing), a ladies waitlist . . . With a fake registration in the system, this creates a lot of unnecessary work and actually impacts someone who we told could not attend since we are now sold out.
It would have been helpful if you had called out the registration at the time of the support ticket, so I could delete it.
Noted and again I apologise for the confusion.
