Hi, In the event calendar on this page there is a large amount of unnecessary white space at the top of each day. Could you please tell me where it is coming from and how to get rid of it.

Hi there,

It’s happening because you have an event set with a DateTime starting April 1, 2021 through to March 31, 2023, meaning it happens every day on the calendar for that time period.

Someone has added some CSS to hide the event on the calendar but it is still loaded on the page so throws off the height calculations within the calendar.

See here: https://monosnap.com/file/u4E0Fvn9hRKrARiOiMV2K3KjEYrs4B

We currently don’t have a method to exclude specific categories from the calendar, however, you can set the calendar to only load specific categories (rather than excluding a specific one) which means if you use something like:

[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR event_category_id=1,2,3]

You can load events in the categories with ID’s 1, 2 and 3 so simply don’t add the category with that event in it to prevent it from displaying.
