Hello, I am in EE messages. I would like to give registrants the option to edit their registrations or add guests. What do each of the 2 short codes below do? Would I use one of these two? Thank you!

Hi there,
Event Espresso does not allow you to add additional registrations to a group once it has been created, they would need to be added as separate tickets from the ticket selector as a new registration.
[EDIT_ATTENDEE_LINK] is for the admin to edit the registration, you would only use that within the ‘Event Admin’ message contexts.
[FRONTEND_EDIT_REG_LINK] is to edit the current registration on the front end of the site, so its for site visitors.
However, netiher of those shortcodes will allow you to add registrations.
