Hello,

I want a specific email address to receive a detailed email notification each time an event ticket is sold.

How can I do this?

I tried going through documentation

()

…and through every settings page, under every Event Espresso link.

I can’t find it!

This is VIP as we’re now selling tickets and not getting notifications anywhere–we can only see info when we log into the back-end of the site and go into Event Espresso areas.

Thank you,

Chris

Hi Chris,

By default the EE messages use the event author email address to send messages generated for a specific event. So it’s the email address of whichever user account is set as the author of the event.

You can change this and its done through the message templates.

Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message Templates

Any message template that have the ‘Event Admin’ context active (blue link) will use the event author shortcode, you’ll need to edit each on and change the shortcode in the ‘To’ field.

For example the Registration Approved message, event admin context is here – http://take.ms/UwjU8

Then within the template – http://take.ms/eQOqz

If you change each of those to use [CO_EMAIL] EE will send the messages to the email address set within:

Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Primary Contact email.
