I just purchased/activated the EE business license and seating chart. Where is the calendar page? I have tried putting <link rel=’stylesheet’ type=’text/css’ href=’fullcalendar.css’ /> in a page per a response I found but that hasn’t worked. |
You might find the calendar documentation helpful: |

Thank you. I’ve read that documentation, in several places, and unfortunately it’s not working for me. I don’t even have a page dedicated where I’m seeing the calendar at all. I’ve put the short code in within various places and nothing seems to be working. It’s almost like I just don’t have the calendar. |

Right now I’m dealing with my sight crashing partially and completely due to the EE plugins. Beginning to wonder if this was a smart purchase. |
Hi there, The calendar shortcode needs to be placed on a page in order to have a calendar. You can choose which ever page that you want the calendar to be on this way. If you’re having problems with your website crashing after installing Event Espresso, please check the Event Espresso>System Status page. There may be some server configurations that need updating. Along with that, the Espresso requirements check plugin will run an automated check to see if your server is up to the minimum specifications to run Event Espresso. You can download it here: |

I have done this. This page will simply not load a calendar, it is blank. |
|
Are you getting a javascript error on the page where you put the calendar shortcode? Can you provide a link to your calendar page? |

http://8934.gcnet.co/espresso_calendar-2/?preview=true&preview_id=1182&preview_nonce=1cd97c7413 this is the second one, I assume that is why it autopopulated the “2”. |
|
I also activated the system check, and no problems popped up. I’m using wp 3.6. |
I checked the page that you linked to and I’m seeing this in the content: [espresso_calendar] The Calendar plugins shortcodes are case sensitive. You can edit the page’s shortcode and change the letters from all lowercase letters to uppercase like this: [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR] |
|
|
that is how I wrote it originally. the shortcode changed the case. |
|
AH, I see what you mean….I hadn’t put it in the content before, but I did find a plug in that seems to be causing the crashing…I deactivated that, but didn’t go back and check the calendar again b/c I was working on a different issue. THANKS |
