I’m using PayPal Express Checkout Smart Payment Buttons because the usual Paypal Commerce Gateway is buggy on my site. When i order more than 1 ticket Paypal commerce fails. So how long can i still use the express checkout smart buttons?

Any error in the payment method logs within Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> logs? Open up the log by clicking the ID on the left of the table and view the request/response to/from PayPal for the transaction you saw this on. Any errors would usually be included in one of those logs.
What is the ticket setup for the event? Can you link me to it?
If I can reproduce this I can investigate further.
