I’m using this shortcode:
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS category_slug=horticulture show_expired=false order_by=start_date,id button_text=’More Info’]

And right now we have no events… I don’t see a message on the page itself saying there are no events…. it’s just blank. I’ve seen some other posts on how to change the text, but I don’t have anything to work with even…

Any ideas why I’m missing the message?
Thanks!

Hi Shelly,

The shortcode actually pulls in your theme’s content-none.php template file when nothing is found, it will only check within the root directory of the theme for that file so if your theme loads its templates from somewhere else (say a ‘templates’ directory) it won’t load the file.

Are you using a child theme on the site currently?
