Not sure if its something I have to configure but when customers are purchasing a ticket and they cancel payment it still gives a receipt – even if it says payment processing It’s confusing for customers to get a receipt if they cancel payment. Instead if you exit off of the paypal page it should say registration cancelled. Is there something i’m missing? Maybe i have to configure some settings?
Originally when a user cancelled their payment they would be returned to the registration-cancelled page which meant they had to restart the registration all over again.
We changed this to direct the user to the thank you page which allows the user to retry another payment, although I do understand this may confuse some users. We have an open ticket to investigate other options for this and I will add this thread to that.
For the time being you could remove that top section from the thank you page, if preferred?
Thanks for the help but I think what might be easier is changing the legend so its more clear. Instead of saying “Pending Payment Registration, Upcoming Event” I want it to say “Not Paid”. I also “ee-status-strip” to be thicker. What the easiest way to change this as I’m having trouble editing it. Thanks,
Tyler
For the status strip, you may have to load some CSS in the admin somehow that will allow you to apply custom styles to the WP admin pages.
For the wording, you can use this custom function to change the text strings:
That code can be placed in your wordpress-theme/functions.php file, or in a custom site specific plugin.
