We have alot of government students. They register and then pay 30 days later. I need to mark the seat as reserved and take away from the total but not list them as paid. how do I do this in the backend module. Also is their an automatic waiting list or designator to send them to an overflow class?
The registration and payment status’ can be separate. You can manually change the registration status to Approved, or set the default to Approved. The transaction status can still be Pending Payment.
There is not a waitlist feature in EE4, per-se. However, I do recommend setting up another datetime for that same event that is a WaitList Ticket which people can register for and you can contact them if there is availability.
Once I am done with this school setup I will send you guys some recommendations based on the workflow I am working with. I think this system could be really good for course registration as well as events. There really is not a good solution for companies doing courses. I think with some tweaks you could offer either a plugin to EE4 or as part of the system core.
You could add these registrants manually through your WordPress dashboard and they will be registered but still have a balance due.
WP-admin –> Event Espresso –> Events.
Hover over the name of the event and click on Registrations. Then click on Add New Registration at the top of the page.
