Error 500 just means ‘something went wrong’ but we need the actual error message that is being thrown.
Do you have access to the servers error logs? Most hosts usually have a section of your dashboard that allows you to view the logs. If you check in there do you see any ‘fatal errors’ within the log?
Another option is to enable WP_DEBUG on the site and refresh the page that throws the error, the full error message should then show on the site.
