My website lakehumecyclechallenge.com.au crashed after doing the last update. I thought it was the migration of my site to a cloud server that caused the issue or Divi Update that all happened at the same time. They sent me the foloowing and said it was Event Espresso Plugin that caused the problem. Can you look at this and let me know. My site is currently up.[11-Nov-2019 02:33:46 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught EventEspresso\core\exceptions\InvalidAliasException: “EventEspresso\core\services\cache\CacheStorageInterface” can not be used as an alias because the “EventEspresso\core\services\cache\TransientCacheStorage” class does not extend or implement it. in /home/lakehume/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/services/loaders/ClassInterfaceCache.php:91 |

Here is the error I receive when trying to bring up the Login screen for WordPress: |

I am currently in My Dashboard of my lakehumecyclechallenge.com.au in Recovery Mode: My Host has deactivated Event Espresso as it is causing Fatal Errors for some reason. I found this in my email: |

Hi there, The above error is strange in that it shows X class doesn’t implement Y class so can’t be used but I’m pretty sure it does. I’m running the latest version on multiple sites and don’t have the above issue so I’ve created a ticket with our developers to confirm this and will update with more info when they are available (due to time differences it will take a little). The first steps I recommend is to make sure you have a clean version of EE installed, its possible something happened to the files during the migration and that then caused the above (that in itself would be odd, but it happens). Do you have FTP access to the server? You mentioned in your other thread that EE has been de-activated, has it been removed completely from the server? You can check by first looking in Dashboard -> Plugins for ‘Event Espresso’, something like this – https://monosnap.com/file/n253BUJGS1fO4YAQyxpoFTuhSPLndH Or by check on the server itself in Can you see either of those? Note – reinstalling Event Espresso may throw the same fatal error again and without FTP access to the server you would need to contact your host again to have them disable it for you again so it is recommended you have those details before moving forward. |

Actually, @Josh reminded me of something another hosting company does with filenames with ‘cache’ in the name/path which may (or may not) be related to your problem here. Can you check with your host if they ignore/remove/empty files on the server with ‘cache’ anywhere in their path? |

What you could do first is delete the Event Espresso plugin and reinstall a fresh copy that you download from your account page. The error messages indicate there are at least one missing file. |
|
Is it the Event Espresso 4 Core Regular v4.10.2.p. Ray |
|
Yes, that’s the current version of the EE4 plugin. |

Thanks for letting us know that installing a fresh copy of EE fixed the issue for you. |
