I’ve been searching the forums for just long enough to realize that your company is being really coy about allowing changes to the footer text “Powered by Event Espresso & WordPress”
So far I’ve read lots of confusing & misleading posts about how to remove it or to change text OTHER than “Event Expresso”.
Your customers pay a serious premium to use this software. It’s shameful that you then choose to waste their time rather than provide a simple way to change this text it the Theme Options.
Shame on you! I’m seriously contemplating demanding a refund unless you either explain how to edit this text, or add this ability to your options panel. Stop being so damn greedy!

Hi there,
I can assure you that no one here has the intent to waste your time.
That said, it’s fairly straightforward to remove. You can remove the Powered by Event Espresso message by going to:
Event Espresso > General Settings > Admin tab, then set “Link to Event Espresso in your Registration Page?” to No. Then you click Save.
