Hello
I’d like to make some of our registration fields required. Specifically, I’d like to make sure dates are in the mm/dd/yyyy format, and phone numbers are in ###-###-#### format.

Hey Lane,
I think you will need to write custom JQuery scripts for your site to facilitate this need. In the meantime, I have added an internal feature request for this.
Please let us know if you need anything else.

it’s a standard feature and it should be with these type of form fields. i have applied custom jquery code in validation.js file but its not working can you help me with some code hints that will work with these 2 fields on my registration form.

Can you post your custom jQuery code in a pastebin or gist, then post a link here so we can take a look? We should be able to offer some suggestions if we can take a look at the code.
