We have an event Limit=10 tickets, with two tickets , where one ticket has a price modifier for $15. for lunch to be included with the registration. We started selling tickets and had a pricing mistake which was discovered after selling 1 of 7 tickets without lunch and 2 tickets of 7 with lunch. The system locked these tickets, as expected, when we fixed the pricing and the system created two new tickets with the correct pricing and for those new/active tickets we have sold 6 of 6 without lunch and 1 of 1 with lunch, so we have sold 10 total, but the Wait List is not enabled. I believe we need to increase the Qty values of the active tickets in order to enable the waitlist to accept registrations, is that right? |

Here is a screenshot which shows the Event and Tickets details. NOTE, at the bottom of the screenshot, why does it show “Total Available Event Spaces 3” when we have sold 10 tickets and the event has a Limit of 10. Three is the number of tickets sold in the “locked tickets”. |

Hi there, My apologies, I did a poor job of keeping you in the loop here. I have been looking into this, however, so far I’ve been unable to reproduce the same issue your having. Here is my current setup: https://monosnap.com/file/SHYw6jZgwyFLxJ1OsIaJHbO8CCGWEy Which you’ll note is almost identical, only I have 0 Total Available Event Spaces. I assume you have something other than 0 set in the ‘Wait list spaces’ section? (Note the metaboxes are drag and drop so you can drag the ‘Event Wait list’ metabox above the venue metabox so it can all fit in a single screenshot without zooming out) Can you link me to the event so I can take a look at what the front end out has? |

The link to the live event is https://www.fingerlakeswoodturners.com/tom-wirsing-visit/ Scroll down to the workshop Tuesday Oct 25 Here is the screenshot. https://capture.dropbox.com/Bf1XTCmlAKpYW1iE |

Is that event privately published? Can you add a screenshot which shows the ‘Update event’ and ‘Event Registratio options’ meta boxes, please? |
|
Not sure what you mean “is that event privately published”. I provided the public URL in the previous post https://www.fingerlakeswoodturners.com/tom-wirsing-visit/ The event was initially published with a password to limit access to club members for about 10 days but the password was removed and we received additional registrations with this event, and others listed, before reaching the current situation. Here is the capture of the Event Registrations Options meta box |

That’s not a URL for an EE event, it’s a page using the The screenshot you added later shows the events URL: https://monosnap.com/file/MA4kcEF56ow1vbr1LHzrmZ17PZXoSU That event has been privately published so I can’t view any details on it, it’s ok, I’m just trying to reproduce the same setup as you to see if it makes a difference. I’m investigating this further currently. |

I don’t think a call will help with this, however if you can send over temp login details I’ll happily take a look at the event. You can send them using this form: https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/ Note that to troubleshoot this I can add some debug code on the site, generally, we won’t be that without a support token but I’d like to investigate this issue to make sure it’s not something we are missing. However, we don’t add code to a site using the built-in editors and would require FTP credentials to do so, its up to you if you wish to provide those 🙂 |
