Testing this on Android, the ticket link opens in my browser and shows the waitlist button for me.
Looking at your screenshot you’re using iOS (which I can’t test as I don’t own any Apple products), I’ll ask another member of the team to check it out.
It’s likely due to Facebook opening the page within its own browser.
There may have been some caching involved. In other words, it could have been Facebook’s cached version of your site needed some time to catch up to the actual site.
