I have a discount set to number of registration, threshold at 2 and discount of 5 with type of “fixed dollar amount” and category selected for the event correctly.
I have multiple attendees enabled and when I register 2 or more it will not apply the discount and the event price remains.
what can I do to resolve this?

Hi Mike,
When it’s not applying the discount, did you add the event to the cart, or did you fill out the registration form without adding the event to the cart?

I add 2 attendees then continue to the verification page where it lists the ticket summary and all attendee names with ticket prices. the verification page is showing retail price NO discount. when I click confirm registration I go to the payment overview page and it is also showing retail. the paypal buy button when clicked is showing the retail price asking for full payment.

Mike,
The volume discounts will only be applied if the event is added to the cart. So for example you can add the event to the cart from this page:
http://www.sandyvalememorialgardens.org/event-calendar/event-registration/
You can also disable the registration form on the specific event page, and replace with an add to cart link (to allow for *always* getting a volume discount) by following this guide:

ok, thanks I have it working now, but how can I get the discount to be $5 off each ticket buying 2 or more? it seems to only apply $5 off to the total not per ticket

Hi Mike,
The volume discount add-on can only apply discounts per ‘cart’ and does not allow you to set a discount per ticket at this time.
You could change the discount to be a percentage discount rather than a value amount, would that work?
