So I have migrated my database under EE4. And now I need to create a new event, but I’m having an issue that I can not use visual editor for that (code one works fine). Visual editor for the blogs/pages works just fine.

Hi there,

Do you have FTP access to your WordPress installation? If so, you could try removing or commenting out line 1537 of /wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/core/admin/EE_Admin_Page.core.php where it says:

remove_all_filters('mce_external_plugins');

Thanks, Josh. That did work.

I have sent you guys an email, but seems like its much quicker to get answers here – do you guys have an estimate on when discount codes will be added into EE4?
If not – I also seen that it’s kinda impossible to migrate back to EE3 without a database backup? I do have a backup, but I have about 2-7 articles a day being posted on the website, and I can’t loose new ones, since I migrated a database.

Discount codes will be added to EE4 after the beta period is over. We currently do not have a time table for this.

It is possible to downgrade to ee3 by deactivating ee4, reactivate ee3 then go through and reset all the page settings back to their ee3 settings. You will also need to manually go through and re-apply the shortcodes that handled the EE3 registration and payment pages. Basically you set them back up the way that’s outlined here:
