Hey guys, I tried hard to solve this problem but not working for me. We updated our theme and didnt realize until we needed to add a new round of events that the visual editor breaks for events.

I read all of the forum posts and suggestions. I know this is a theme based issue. I switched to 2014 theme and it worked. I deactivated all non EE plugins and it didn’t work.

I found Josh’s plugin remove-extra-editor-buttons-master and no dice

I went to the theme website and they have a few streams about people trying to get EE to work with the Inovado theme. Inovado is saying tough luck – A quote “Hm well the problem is that this theme is also coded according to WP standards – having the wp_enqueue instead of including the js to make sure everything goes smoothly. I’m afraid the problem with this plugin goes beyond “wp standards” and is very specific, that’s why we struggle a bit to fix this because we don’t know where it’s coming from”

A bit lost on what to do next short of switching themes every time I need to make an update. I mentioned to them that EE suggested a theme based TinyMCE issue and have had no response yet.

Any ideas from your side would be appreciated but I understand that the theme is not your choice but mine and it really is my issue not yours. Just wondering if you had any ideas.
