View Full Order Confirmation Receipt (2)

After completing an order I get the “View Full Order Confirmation Receipt” button, how do I switch it so that it redirects to the invoice only. My users are not tech savvy so I am trying to dumb this all down and make it as simple as possible.

I am using EE4, I am also comfortable with editing files.

One last issue… What template file to edit the invoice screen? ../?ee=msg_url_trigger&snd_msgr=html&gen_msgr=html&message_type=invoice&context=purchaser&token=1-6c3f6fef5d84e175c953cd4e2979612d&GRP_ID=14&id=17

I tried to edit a few templates but I don’t see any of the changes. I’m thinking this is auto-generated in some way?

Hi Dennis,

The simple approach is you deactivate the Receipt message type in Event Espresso > Messages > Settings, then click on the html link, then you drag the receipt message type over to the Inactive message type box. This way they’ll still get the link to download an invoice, but no link to download a receipt.

You can make edits to the invoice by going to Event Espresso > Messages > Default Message Templates, then click on the edit link for the Invoice.
