Hello |
Hi Sue, Can you define ‘user’ here, please? If the user is a normal logged out visitor, then no. If the user has a user account they log into (even if its only a subscriber account), then yes, but you’ll need to modify the capabilities on their account to do so. (Note the above functionality is actually through WordPress rather than Event Espresso itself) Another option is to publish it as password protected and give that user the password. |

Hi Sue,
It is, but just to clarify, this isn’t an EE feature, this is a WordPress feature. EE events are custom ‘posts’ (they are a custom post type) and so Wp treats them in a very similar way as posts, you can’t preview posts without being logged in and so the same applies to EE. However, I did a quick search for a way to selectively preview posts and found this: https://wpshout.com/quick-guides/selectively-share-draft-wordpress/ Which sounds like exactly what you need here. |

Hi Tony – thanks – I will test out the share draft of the event – sounds good. |

sorry just to clarify – the RO access to all events should include viewing the event and also all registrations….. |
Hi Sue, Just noting that I’ve posted a response to your other thread relating to the above here: https://eventespresso.com/topic/ro-access-to-all-events-and-registrations/?view=all#post-306727 |
