Hi When a customer clicks on ‘View Cart’, is it possible to show the cart without the registration form? Also is there a view cart shortcode that I can use to create a link? I’d like to give customers a separate link to view the cart wherever they are in the site. I’m using EE4 with the Multiple Event add-on. Many thanks James |
Hi James, the registration checkout form itself should not be appearing so I’m wondering if there is some kind of conflict occurring. Do you have a link available? You should just see the cart like this: http://cl.ly/image/233R032B3W1v This link should work: example.com/registration-checkout/?event_cart=view …where you substitute example.com with your actual website URL. — |

Sorry – here is the booking page. Just click on the green toggle to add to basket: |
Hi James, If you switch to another theme and re-test this does the same happen? You can do this without effecting your sites visitors using the Theme Test Drive plugin. |

Hi. I’ve changed the theme and I’m still getting the same problem. |
Apologies, I should have added above to use one of the default themes such as TwentyFourteen. So was this one the default themes you tested with or another? If another can you retest with TwentyFourteen. I’m just trying to rule out a theme conflict, using one of the default themes lets us know if this is specific to something the theme is doing or something else. |

Hi Tony I tried both TwentyFifteen and TwentyFourteen. Still having the same problem. Thanks James |
Do you have a development copy of the site running? The next step is to run de-activate all non-EE plugins, switch to a default theme (not using theme test drive) and re-test. Then activate each plugin one by one and retest until the issue happens again, then report back as to which plugin causes it so we can advise from there. We recommend doing this on a development copy of the site so its away from view of your visitors. If you currently do not have a dev site I would highly recommend doing so by cloning the current site either locally or onto a subdomain of the server. An easy way to do this is using the Duplicator plugin. |

Hi. Many thanks for the reply. I deactivated all of the plug-ins as suggested and have a found a conflict with User Profiles Made Easy. Have you come across this before? James |
|
Hi James, No we haven’t come across this particular issue or plugin before. It might be poor code from the plugin side or just a genuine conflict, it’s hard to say without examining the plugin. |
