Hi,
Is it possible to embed venue shortcodes into event descriptions etc.
I have an event that has multiple venues, so this would be really useful

I’ve tried using [ESPRESSO_VENUE id=”4565″] for example, but that doesn’t work.

No that’s not possible and the short code you tried doesn’t exist in Event Espresso 4.

Thanks. Are there any plans to bring those shortcodes back? I believe they used to work in EE3?
Is there anyway I can display venue data automatically or will I need to add it all manually to each date time entry?
It would be very useful to have the option to add multiple venues for each event.

Hi Phil,
No plans, but you can use the Advanced Custom Fields plugin to create one to many relationships between events and venues. Some custom templating work will also be involved to get those relationships displaying on the events pages.
